Root SamSung Galaxy Y S5360 And Install ClockworkMod.
If you have a Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 you have come to the right place.Today we will be seeing rooting of Samsung Mobile Device called “Samsung Galaxy Y“.Galaxy Y comes with the Android version of 2.3 Gingerbread Rooting the Phone allows users to do various things unlock root features.

Pre-Requestive:
- Make Sure USB drivers are installed.
- Note that this is only for S5360 Samsung galaxy Y doing it on any other versions of Samsung Galaxy Y will Hard brick your Phone.
- Enable USB debugging.go to Options->application->USB debugging.
- Activate SYNC to your Gmail account.Using “Superbackup” backup your contacts,apps,calenders,bookmarks etc.
- As usual have charge above 80%.
- Disable Your antivirus for safety of your device.
How to Root Samsung Galaxy Y:
- Download Root Package from Here.
- Now,Have the USB cable and connect the Device to the Computer.
- Place the File(ZIP) on the root of the SD card(First Level).
- Switch of the Phone.
- Now it is time to boot into the Recovery Mode(Stock Recovery). Press Home button+Volume Up.
- Navigate to the option”Install from SD card” and choose ” zip from SD card”
- Go and select the Update.zip.
- Wait for flashing to continue now the package will try to root your phone.
- Reboot the system once you are Done.
How to Install ClockworkMod:
- Now the Phone is rooted,Time to install Custom recovery.
- Download the CWM recovery from Here.
- Connect the phone to PC and Place the Package ZIP on the root of SD card.
- Disconnect the from the computer and Switch off the Phone.
- Go to Stock Recovery Again,Press Home+Volume Up boot to the Stock Recovery.
- Navigate using Volume and power buttons.
- Now select the update from SD card and locate the file.
- Wait for the flash to get over and Boom You have CWM.
